Then start up FFXI and execute the command '//lua load skillchains' after the game starts. Then I created a folder called 'skillchains' in the windower program's directory tree and extracted the three files there. Here is what I did - I downloaded the lua from here (there are three files in a zip file) by clicking the green 'clone or download' button on the right side of the page.
